- While prior programming knowledge can be useful, no experience is required as long as you are committed and eager to learn. Our pre-course tutorials help you prepare for our program.
- It’s not about your experience, your resume or your degree—it’s about your dedication and hard work. Web development is challenging, so we look for students who success-driven because we know that this program requires a commitment of time and effort in order to best learn the course concepts.
- No, applicants do not need to be UNC Charlotte students. This program is offered through UNC Charlotte School of Professional Studies.
- Our program has an application process and is not open enrollment. Once a prospective student fills out the form or calls our admissions department, they will go through an initial phone interview with an advisor. Applicants who are recommended to move forward will then take a critical thinking and problem-solving assessment.
- No, the only requirement is that you be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.

- Our full-time program requires 20 hours of in-class time per week. In order to truly thrive in the program, you must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 20-30* hours to outside work per week (*depending on experience).
- Yes, a reliable laptop is required for this course. Laptops can be Mac or PC, with a minimum 8GB of RAM and a dual core processor.
